Blue Marlin

It is the final day of the tournament, with only a few short hours of fishing time left. When the bill appears on the teaser, a nice daisy chain of squids, the crew kicks into high gear and diverts the monster blue’s attention to a nearby marlin lure. The drop-back ensues, the drag is engaged, and the rest is up to you and your crew. With the roar of the engines and the black smoke from the diesels, the captain throws the engines into reverse backing down on the monster causing water and spray to rush over the transom making Hurricane Hazel look like a spring shower. It is because you have chosen only the best tackle that everything comes together in the end the way only the best daydream could have been scripted. Hours later you find yourself standing in front of your competition being crowned the tournament champion. The large check is yours and bragging rights are yours until at least next year.
